Glen Carlou is situated in the Paarl-Simonsberg region and a short 35min drive from Cape Town. Although under the ownership of a South African family consortium, their wines see as many as 45 countries around the world.
There are 3 tasting options to choose from, and one of these includes a Lakrid’s (artisan liquorice) and 4 wine pairing. A lovely terrace outside to enjoy the pretty views, and a large inside section with double volume ceilings and lounge pockets. Lunch is served with a seasonal menu with locally sourced produce.
The gallery at Glen Carlou has a diverse range of mediums such as photography, ceramics, sculptures and contemporary embroidery that showcases modern and contemporary art by South African artists. They have wedding and conference facilities to cater for those blushing brides or successful board meetings.
