Mellasat is a boutique winery situated in the heart of the Winelands, just outside Paarl and a 45-minute drive from Cape Town. We are the ‘Home of the White Pinotage’;, the first winery in the world that produced a White Pinotage in 2007! We also have Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Viognier, Chardonnay, Shiraz, MCC, a Rosé, a white and a red blend in our range of wines.
Come and taste our delicious wine and enjoy a cheese and charcuterie platter under the old oak trees. Enjoy the beauty of the Drakenstein mountains and experience the peace of our area. While here, also visit the ’Cemetery of Forgotten Wines’, a bizarre collection of interesting wines in our underground cellar. Cellar tours are available by appointment. Come and experience our hospitality and passion for wine. We are open 7 days a week (closed on New Year’s Day, Good Friday and Christmas Day).
