Once known as the smallest winery in South Africa, Lemberg was established in 1978 and is well known for their Hárslevelü. This 21-hectare boutique family-owned wine farm craft their wines by hand. Many of the Lemberg wines are affectionately named after their special English Bulldogs that have been part of the family through the years, starting with Spencer in 2010. Thereafter came Lady (Hárslevelü and Viognier-blend), Nelson (Syrah), Louis (Rhone blend), Ella (Grenache noir) and Rose (Rosie’s Blanc de noir). The wine range encompasses both a Lifestyle Range for easy drinking options and a Premium range for more complex wines. The wine tastings are based around their favourites and what they have open and available. A relaxed and happy atmosphere with cheese platters available too. Lemberg also make a Brandy and two Gins (Lemon Infused & Fynbos Infused). If looking for a rustic country stay, then you can enjoy a peaceful relaxing retreat here, or use their French Oak Room to host your function.
