Glenwood Vineyards is a boutique winery tucked away in the Robertsvlei Valley, just around the corner from the town of Franschhoek. Glenwood’s 52h is surrounded by indigenous fynbos, with the Cape Leopard as a visitor from time to time. There is a wonderful outside terrace, as well as tables under a massive oak tree to relax and take in the mountain and vineyard vista. The cozy inside section with a fireplace is ideal for those colder days. Two tasting options are available, with either a flight of 5 wines or the Home of Chardonnay tasting. For the hungry, there is gourmet sushi to complement the wines. Alternatively, a unique wine and fynbos experience is available, where you can walk or drive through indigenous fynbos on the way up to Nature’s Window and do a wine tasting there.
