The Durbanville Hills Winery overlooks the world-famous Table Mountain, Table Bay and Robben Island in Cape Town. Located just a twenty-minute drive from Cape Town’s city centre, the wine produced reflects a unique synergy between the location and expertise in winemaking.
Our defining character emanates from our vineyards’ close proximity to the Atlantic and Indian oceans; the swirling mists and sea breezes that cool the vineyards on hot summer afternoons; and an almost endless variety of hills and slopes. Here the grapes ripen slowly to perfection in shale-origin soils. The result is a range of cool climate wines with intense fruit appeal, finesse and complexity that reflect their unique provenance.
