Dunstone Country Estate is a charming guest house and boutique winery located in Wellington, right at the base of the Bainskloof pass, only an hour’s drive from Cape Town. This 9-hectare working wine and fruit farm is owned by Dirk Vaeye, and has undergone some lovely changes, including their family friendly ROOTS Bistro offering country cuisine. The Dunstone wines are produced on the estate, with their first vines being planted in 2003. Tastings take place at the Guest House, and one needs to book beforehand. Dunstone offers accommodation, both guest suites and self-catering options, with gorgeous views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains beyond. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding in a peaceful countryside retreat.
