De Wet Cellar is the oldest co-operative cellar in the Worcester area, as it was founded in April 1946. Originally the farm produced 3000 tons of grapes annually. Nowadays they process approx. 19 000 tons annually with a focus on both local and export markets. The relaxed tasting room and outside patio is ideal for a wine tasting, while you ‘linger longer’ to enjoy a glass or bottle of wine. Although no formal restaurant, the harvest platter and snack plates are a good idea to accompany a tasting. The cake and wine pairing or Vintage Mashup and Chocolate pairing make for an interesting way to sample the wines. Child friendly with a small jungle gym and dog friendly outside. Situated next to the N1 highway, it is an easy hop-off stop while enroute to other areas.
