Set in the Stellenbosch Winelands with a view of the iconic Helderberg mountains and a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean, Klein Welmoed is a haven of peace and tranquillity with a Guest House and self-catering cottages. We offer facilities for small conferences, functions and weddings.
Klein Welmoed is situated on a 39-hectare wine and olive farm where Fish Eagle grace the skies and their cry can be heard throughout the year and guinea fowl, duck and a gaggle of beautiful Egyptian geese stroll the grounds. The estate is surrounded by fertile Stellenbosch soils which gives life to our Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Semillon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz cultivar vines and olive trees.
Klein Welmoed is conveniently situated only 30 kilometres from Cape Town International Airport and 10 minutes from Stellenbosch, a town rich in history and culture.
For golfing enthusiasts, Klein Welmoed is a close drive from a number of stunning golf courses. And, for beach lovers, Gordons Bay or Strand, along the Indian Ocean, are easily accessible.
