Verde en Lust Wine Estate lies within a natural amphitheater against the slopes of the dramatic Simonsberg Mountain between Paarl and Franschhoek. This 70-hectare wine estate is family owned and managed by the Buys family since 1996. In 2005, they purchased a further 90-hectare farm called Casey’s Ridge in Elgin. This allows grapes to be harvested from both a mild and cool climate with various soils, and bring those grapes back to the Vrede en Lust Estate to make the magic happen. There are two tasting options if sitting outside as well as a Dalewood cheese pairing and Lindt Chocolate pairing inside.
