Purchased in 2005 by Charles and Zelda Fox, with assistance from neighbour Paul Wallace, they set out to transform a fruit farm into 6.3ha of grape vines. These vineyards face North-East and South, with an elevation of 230m and 300m above sea level. This boutique winery specializes in crafting Cap Classique wines only, and provides a laid-back tasting experience, whether you choose to enjoy it on the outdoor patio or inside the cozy tasting lounge. The varietals include those used to make Cap Classique only – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinto Meunier. Charles Fox is an avid ‘Francophile’, especially when it comes to the traditional method of making champagne, which he believes is crucial for producing high-quality wine. Different tasting options to choose from, depending on your palate preference. No restaurant or pairings, so keep this in mind when planning your trip.
