It was 1 of the 9 farms granted to the Huguenots who sought sanctuary in the Cape in 1688. This Estate is nestled in the Franschhoek Valley with the fitting meaning of the name ‘La Bri’ meaning refuge. La Bri is on the Franschhoek wine trams Blue and Green lines making it easy to visit while there.
